About our Founder

Chief DR. Temitope Ademola Afolabi

Chief (Dr.) Temitope Ademola Afolabi, a man of modest beginnings and unwavering determination, was born on the 15th of May, 1971, into the family of the late Mr. Salami Afolabi—a respected farmer and community leader—and Mrs. Okunlola Afolabi, a diligent petty trader. His roots trace back to the Ile Alaadorin Compound in Ode Aje, Ibadan.
His early education began at Canon Okusehinde Memorial Primary School, Aremo, Ibadan, where he studied between 1978 and 1984. He proceeded to Lagelu Grammar School, a well-known institution in the city, completing his secondary education in 1989. Driven by a passion for science and service, he gained admission to Nigeria’s premier institution—the University of Ibadan—where he studied Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 1999 with the professional title of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM).
Professional Path
Dr. Afolabi commenced his professional journey in 1999 with the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Osun State, as part of his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). In 2000, he joined Lipakala Farms in Ondo State, where he served as the Farm Veterinary Officer.
In 2002, he took a significant step forward by joining UAC of Nigeria Plc. Over the course of a decade, he held several strategic roles in Quality Assurance, Sales, and Marketing, eventually rising to the position of Full Manager in 2012. His work with UAC allowed him to gain national exposure and sharpen his leadership capabilities.
In 2017, he joined the Olam Group and currently serves with Karma Agric Feeds and Foods Limited, where his contributions continue to drive growth and innovation in the agricultural sector. Commitment to Community
Dr. Afolabi is not only a seasoned professional but also a committed community leader and unifier. He served as the National Chief Whip of the Lagelu Grammar School Old Boys Association from 2017 to 2019 and was later elected Chairman of the 1984/89 Set between 2019 and 2023. He is currently the President of the Ibadan Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Class of ’98/’99, and also leads the Mr Biggs Ondo/Ekiti Family as President. In addition, he serves as Patron of Afolabi House (Red House) at Baptist Primary School 1, Lanlate, Ibarapa East.
In recognition of his dedication to community development and human upliftment, he was conferred the chieftaincy title of Balogun Gbobaniyi of Ajia Land, Ibadan, by His Royal Highness, the Alajia of Ajia.
Dr. Temitope Ademola Afolabi is a devoted family man, blessed with wonderful children who continue to be a source of pride and inspiration.
